half past six
half past six is a project about addiction, isolation, depression and being confined in a small space. it depicts a male alone in a small room, disconnected from the world around him. the bottles of beers in the background as well as the bottle on the floor hint at the unhealthy habits and emotional struggle. even though the room is lit, you still cannot see what is outside, which makes the space feel closed off and isolating.
the images were made using cyanotype, giving them a blue and faded look that feels emotional and distant. this project is solely based on my personal experiences with mental health and explores trauma, vulnerability, and inner pain through an intimate and reflective perspective.
